S’MORE brings the music for kids’ birthdays, adult birthdays, backyard parties, graduations and family celebrations. Share your favorites, the mood you want and your do-not-play list.

- Set the vibe: relaxed, nostalgic, upbeat, dance-focused or a mix. Tell me what your guests enjoy.
- Shape the soundtrack: share playlist links, must-play and do-not-play songs, clean versions and how you want guest requests handled.
- Plan the moments: add a time or cue, the activity, and the song/version or announcement you want—from arrival music to the cake or dance floor.
Start with what you know; the details are optional when you inquire. We’ll review your plan during the included 30-minute planning call and agree on how much room I have to read the crowd. Final music preferences and key announcements are due 7 calendar days before your event, or at acceptance for shorter-notice bookings.
Routine music planning and key announcements are included. Formal MC/timeline coordination receives a custom quote; hosted games and other activities need a separate scoped agreement if offered.
DJ audio setup provided. I handle audio setup for your event, including backyard parties. The system and sound coverage are confirmed for your space and guest count in your written quote.
Sound, visuals & effects
My setup includes KRK ROKIT 5 monitors, lighting and laser effects, a Govee LED display for visuals, a fog machine and a bubble machine.
Bubbles are outdoors only to help avoid slippery indoor floors. Lighting, lasers and fog depend on venue approval and a suitable setup.
We confirm which equipment and effects suit your venue before booking. Your written quote identifies the equipment provided, any additional costs and the sound coverage agreed for your space. Effects are included only when listed in your accepted quote.
Service base prices in USD. Your complete written quote confirms the audio setup, sound coverage, microphones, any lighting, visuals or effects, travel, scope and total before booking.
For kids’ birthdays
Kids Birthday Mini
$450 · Up to 2 hours
Clean, age-appropriate music, parent-approved favorites and theme songs, and birthday/cake announcements.
Party Essentials
$600 · Up to 3 hours
For shorter private celebrations, backyard parties and social gatherings.
Recommended for general parties
Party Plus
$750 · Up to 4 hours
Time for birthdays, graduations and family celebrations to find their rhythm.
Live Loud
$900 · Up to 5 hours
Longer parties with time for gathering, food and dancing.
Each package includes S’MORE DJ performance, one 30-minute planning call, music preferences and a do-not-play list, routine birthday/toast announcements, and setup/breakdown as specified in your accepted quote. Setup and breakdown are outside purchased performance hours.
Extra time: $75 per approved half-hour or $150 per hour, subject to availability and the venue’s allowed finish time. The named adult event contact approves the duration and amount in writing before an extension. Event-day extensions are invoiced separately and due within 24 hours.
Planning a kids’ birthday?
The Mini is a music-and-announcements package. We confirm the children’s age range, parent-approved music and key birthday/cake moments with one adult host. The host remains responsible for supervising children.
Hosted games, contests, dance instruction, prizes, character entertainment and full party coordination require a separate scoped agreement if offered.
Kids Birthday Mini has a $450 minimum, including shorter bookings. Longer kids’ celebrations can use the 3-, 4- or 5-hour packages. Other standard private parties have a $600 minimum. Equipment and travel are confirmed separately for your event.
Formal events, venues and equipment
Weddings, formal quinceañera programs, corporate production, ceremony audio and detailed MC/timeline coordination receive custom quotes for the planning, coverage and responsibilities required.
Club/bar sets and residencies receive custom quotes based on set length, preparation, equipment access and recurring commitments.
Sound systems, microphones, lighting, extra sound areas, assistants, rentals and travel are reviewed before the complete quote is accepted. Venue equipment may be used after compatibility and access checks; any price change reflects work and costs actually avoided.
For backyard events, we review guest count, usable setup space, power, weather cover, access and schedule before confirming the setup and total.
Serving Reno and surrounding areas, and Santa Rosa and surrounding areas. Travel bookings are considered individually; travel is not included in these service bases.
How booking works
Send your date, city, event type and requested performance times. We review availability and provide a complete written quote and booking terms. Your date is reserved after written acceptance, the required payment and Ryze’s written confirmation.
30% of the agreed DJ subtotal reserves the booking; the balance is due 7 calendar days before the event. Bookings 7 days or fewer ahead require the DJ subtotal in full at acceptance. Creative add-ons use separate invoice lines: 50% to start, with their balance after final-preview approval and before delivery.
An inquiry or quote alone does not hold your date. Equipment and travel must be resolved before accepting a reservation payment.
